Schumacher 12V Batteryless Jump Starter (DSR108)

By | January 2, 2023

Now this is cool this is the DSR108
it's an ultracapacitor batteryless jump starter from Schumacher. This jumpstarter
doesn't contain any batteries which can take up to two hours to charge instead
it uses capacitors which can be charged and ready to start your car in two
minutes or less. To pre charge the starter the first
thing you do is connect it to the battery on the car that won't start and it'll
show you on the front like a multimeter how much to charge your battery already
has as you can see what this engine here there's not enough power to turn over
the engine but there is more than eight volts and that's all you need to charge
the capacitors. Power the unit on, wait for it to fully charge and then turn the key
and it'll turn your engine over. Now if you've got less than eight volts in your
battery you can connect it to another vehicle's battery or cigarette lighter
it also charges via USB. Again wait for it to fully charge and return to your
vehicle positive to positive negative to negative and turn the key.
Unbelievably easy to use, faster and safer to use than a battery charger and because you
don't need to keep it charged you just throw to the back of your car
forget about it until you need it the DSR 108 has a peak current of 450
amps if you need something bigger the DSR 109 is also available with a peak
current of 800 amps check them out in store or online and while you're there
