Which Milwaukee charger will charge an M12
and M12 high output battery the fastest? Is   it the regular charger, Rapid Charger
or the Super Charger? Let’s find out…  For the test I used three M12, 2.0 amp hour
compact batteries. I drained them in my   Milwaukee heated hoodie since the hoodie turns
off if the battery doesn’t have enough power to   heat the carbon fiber heating elements. Perhaps it
wasn’t the most scientific method for depletion,   but it sure was cozy. For a clean start, I
used a switched power strip. Then I waited… And the winner is? The Rapid Charger at 28 minutes
13 seconds. The fan-cooled Supercharger came in at   a very close second a mere 3 seconds later.
And finally, with a respectable time of 38   minutes 41 seconds?… The regular charger.
Now you’re asking, “What about M12 XC high   output batteries?” Well they didn’t exist back
when I reviewed the Super Charger; however, I’ve   tested them since.

While the Super Charger is the
fastest way to charge an M18 high output battery,   M12 high output batteries don’t charge any faster
on the Super Charger versus a Rapid Charger…. So   not so “super.” I guess we’ll have to wait for the
SUPER DOOPER charger. OK, that’s not even a thing..
