
Hello World. This is the random fix and in this video today, we're going to go ahead and test the LokiThor JA301. I 've done a lot of reviews on portable jump bands and they are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo This one is a little different, as it has a built-in air compressor. So I am currently actually carrying a portable motor like this and the compressor separately.
I'm kind of excited to try this out. And in this video today, we're going to go ahead and test this out. I'm going to show you guys all the cool little features and show you guys the flashlight, and all the different accessory ports working. And then we're going to put this on a pregnancy tester and basically compare it to another starting point. Check if this really contains the juice it claims to have. We are going to. Then try the air pump against another air pump that is its own unit to see how well it works. And finally, we'll go ahead and classify this with the fixed random degree. So stay tuned and let's get the video started. Hey guys, it's the Random Fix and welcome back to the channel. So this video today, we're going to go ahead and test this out. Finally, to stay tuned until the end of the video, I'm going to give this random score to the static so you can make a better decision for yourself.
So the first thing we're going to do is actually check out all the different accessories that are attached. I'll show you the box, then we'll go ahead and try out a few features. Then finally, we'll go ahead and test this out. on an actual pregnancy test. And we'll go ahead and compare the time lags when it's actually used as an air compressor to see how well it works. OK.
Let's start with what comes in the box. So this is the box that came in a standard box, guys, there's nothing really special about the box. There are a couple of things on the side of the box that it's kind of trying to make it out to you, but the text on it is very, very fancy.
So we'll talk a little bit more about what's inside that box and inside the box, we have the unit itself. So this is it. This is LokiThor JA301. And here we have 20,000 mAh and 150 psi. So the main advantage of this is that it's a big auto bank and. It has the jumper bundle built into this, and this looks like a wired hop report here. And these wires are very thick and very fast. We 'll go ahead and compare this to the Duracell jump pack I have here.
And if you guys actually compare Duracell on the left to LokiThor on the right, you can see that's going to happen. A bit of thicker gauge wire. This is going to be an eight, our cable, this is going to be a six cable. So we got the connector here. And we have about a foot of cable and that's what hooks up this way. It can only go in one direction. So even if you're doing this somewhere in the dark and you have to make sure you get it right, you're kinda hard to make that mistake. The unit is powered on just like this and shown to you. Tire pressure is in bar, also in PSI, obviously we'll be using PSI. Here in North America. We have two other outlets here. This will just be a mini USBC. And if you guys watched my videos before you guys know, I love micro USBC, just because it's really universal and most Android phones come with them and basically can hold them. Then we got a USB A connection here, which is great because now you can use this as a charger.
So I use this with my Android phone and it has fast charging built in, which is great. And if I had a micro USBC output, that would be great because then you'd have a two-way port and maybe you could charge this a little bit faster. So we have a total of four bars when it's completely full. And we have the pump here. Basically we can set the level up and down and we'll play with that tire to see how it actually holds up. And the one thing I love about this jump pack is that it has a boost function. So most of the time when you hook this up to the battery, if the battery voltage is really low it can detect anything, it won't really try to go and help start up.
But with this particular jump pack. If you come forward and hold this button down, hold it down. You will go ahead and activate the boost function. Now you can see that these two cables here are actually working. So you don't want to touch in this situation. And we'll go ahead and put this to a pregnancy test, or as I promised, this is the boost function. So some of that. Less expensive scrap packages. Like this does not have this specific feature built in. So if the battery is really dead can I turn it on but LokiThor can this we will go and try that.
So you always want to make sure that you've got the hang of it and that the cables themselves look really good. Nice and tight, everything looks so. And if you look inside here, you can see the wires are really tight and soldered. So the cable is very flexible. I'm not sure if this is 100 percent copper or not, but I don't think any of those came with 100 percent copper wire. that's awesome. Then we have the light itself. The light has two different modes. And if you're sensitive to light, please, excuse the next part, because we have the light itself, and then we have the stroke feature and then we have the SOS feature. And we're going to try it out in the backyard at night. Just see how well it works. Well, guys, let's go ahead and try outdoor lighting here. This is actually a very good flash light.
And he feels relaxed and comfortable. You can carry it. Then the last connection on the back side of this will be the actual compressor itself. So like I said I have a lot of jump packs like this and the ones that don't have any batteries and use capacitors are the ones that have wireless chargers. However, none of them actually had a built-in air compressor. So this would be the air compressor. So I get it. Approximately two feet of strong, covered, stranded protected air hose, just like that. The quick metal connector is here. Guys, this is not plastic. This is metal. So the appeals are really great. Then we have some adapters here. So the first will be used to inflate your sports equipment, such as balls. So this can go ahead and do that for you, which is nice.
The minimum PSI for this would be 10. The maximum would be 150. However, if you want to stop it in the middle, you can easily. And then we got some adapters here in case you want to go ahead and pump up an air mattress or one of those pool floats, you can use their floats, which is pretty cool. Then we got a kind of adapter here. I think this is for some mountain bikes that use this. So display all of this on the port type on the screen. We got. USB-C is here and does not come with the charger. So, just use any Android charger, plug it in, and start charging and discharging and charging your phone instead just plug it in that way.
This part goes into your phone. If you have an Android, and if you have an Apple. Should you opt for a lightning cable instead, then we got the actual owner's manual here. Very basic owner's manual, no special note here. And I checked the owner's manual. Mine only shows one air hose. So maybe this is an updated model here. It is reported that it will start operating a car with a capacity of up to eight liters of petrol and. Six liters on diesel and the accuracy of actual air compressors is within 2 PSI, the life cycle of this would be about a thousand cycles, which is pretty impressive. actually. I'm not sure what kind of battery chemistry they use. So if you guys know please comment in the video box I would really appreciate it. And unloading on the actual USB will be. Finally, we got two bags. So the first patch here will be for the actual accessories. So that would go there. This is going to go in there, your charging cable, the adopters in your hand and they all go inside this big bag here, and it's branded and feels good in like that.
And there's the bag there. So everything fits in his bag. Overall nice and comfortable on first impression. You feel good. I liked the handle here and I'm going to talk about some potential upgrades they can make there. Near the end of the video, but I love this care technique here , it looks nice and sturdy and I've been using it around the house just to do random things. And yesterday I gave her real money to the staff. And we'll show you guys that now on video and we'll be ready to see some smoke, not out of the unit from the pregnancy test. Let me show you guys that now. So that's going to be my low tester here, guys, because I know it's easy going and proving I can start a car. And the car might need a little little crank for a few seconds but this load tester lets you apply some heavy loads and I've had this for a while now and it's amazing if you guys want to go and try it for yourself you can.
And it's fairly inexpensive and you don't get digital battery analyzers like this instead of getting real load tests like this. So I'm going to connect this to the dural cell unit that I showed you guys before. And the duracell unit is fully charged here. If we go ahead and connect the dura cell module to the low tester here, you can see that it actually detects no voltage. Therefore the dorsal unit here does not have a reinforcing function. So, if you guys have a really bad battery, having one of the less expensive jump starters isn't going to do much good because there's no boost function. However, I am going ahead and.
Just go ahead and get Jerry ready for this for a second, so we can go ahead and start this unit and then we'll do a real pregnancy test. So LokiThor is here. And again, if we hold down the PSI bar button, we'll see what happens. If you guys notice now that it's at 12.3 volts, why is it a little different. Is this what you will do. It will go ahead and supply voltage to the unit here automatically. So now this unit here can go ahead and turn it off. So again, without boost function modules like this won't do much. Hassan.
So we'll go ahead and break this down for a second. And now we're going to go ahead and try a dura cell here to see how long it can actually go forward and keep the charges going.
Good. So the dura cell unit is connected, now let's go ahead and hit the load. 1 2 3, 4. So we get to four seconds before the unit actually stops here. And we wanted to go ahead and see how that affected battery life. here. We can reset units 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 again, one by one. two three four So the bottom line is, don't try this at home, and some of these less powerful units break after about four seconds. So those still work. However, you can see that this is down to three bars.
However, if you're really trying to go ahead and start something with a bigger motor here, you definitely won't be able to get the current. You need to go ahead and move the car because I 'm going to show you guys how this is different by going on and off this. And you guys can see for yourselves how this happens. And one cool thing, guys. This will actually be a voltmeter as well. So, do you go ahead and disconnect and reconnect? One thing you will see. It is, it will work like a volt meter. This unit is now injecting a little effort into the load test to see if we can actually detect the effort and LokiThor here. And when you go ahead and be able to discover it. So, if you guys don't know what's wrong with your vehicle, and this often happens where you already have a head start. Let us likely help you diagnose the problem here. Again, this unit is completely safe guys.
It has built in protection. If you go ahead and do it by accident, or go ahead and trigger something, however, when you hit boost mode, all the protection is basically out the door. You'll see that light on there. And now we have full power. So when you do this at home, never do this. I'm only doing this for demo purposes and hope you never need to. Anything close to this, because that's pretty anomaly.
If you use a pregnancy test, you guys are like I'm on the floor here because this thing is going to get hot. So let's go ahead and do this again. Do not touch any of the cables and objects. Want to try this yourself at home? Because this is going to be hot. So now, even though this was helping the other move into a bundle, get started. We 'll go ahead and test this and see what happens. 4 5 6, 7 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13. 14 15 16, 17, 18, 19 20 21 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 37 38 39, 40 41 42, 43, 44, 45, 46. Guys, look at that. You can start with this, you see the smoke here, and this unit is getting hot, because you know the energy byproduct is going to be. heat and this thing is putting it up. So I have to open the window because the smoke alarm is about to go off, but I want to show you guys this first hand, how cool are these guys? He was able to put out so much power that nothing could be touched like anything.
So when you're in a bad place and really need that extra 1 second of cranking to go ahead and get your engine to a cold start. This can go ahead and do the job for you guys. And we still had four battery bars left, and again, some serious energy wasting. The unit is still smoking and everything is here, it's all nice and hot. However, these wires are still touchable, but that's right here at the tip of these wires really, really. heat it up It's really impressive, I don't think we really need to talk much about the actual unit output, other than we'll be testing the pump and the rest of the pump.
But if you guys want to see that again, I'll go ahead and post it there. You guys go again. We'll go ahead and do it again and. You guys can make up your own mind. That's very hot. I'm trying not to burn myself guys. You guys hear that? I've never seen a jump starter pack with this many players. And this guy's voltage is not dropping. It is not excluded. It is not reset. It just keeps turning the power off and imagine you're out there in the wilderness and it's 20 or 30 degrees below. And you need a little strength.
I'm so confident in this unit I can go ahead and put this power after you guys that I've never seen anything like this, even though I've already turned this off the unit is smoking. And we still have three bars left. And if you guys wondered about the unit itself, the unit isn't hot and still feels nice and cool. Other than a little bit I had a closer pregnancy test here. Today, we are going to test the actual compressor part of this. To do that, all you have to do is go ahead and remove this little cap here and twist the air hose off, just like that. Get nice and comfy and. air hose. This is very good. Actually, guys, gripping this one is good, so you can get a grip on it well. It's plastic. So now we're going to go ahead and try the air pump, but I wanted to make this a real test.
I have already lowered the tire pressures on the front driver and front passenger. And they're both at nine PSI here. And this location is connected to a regular 12V AC compressor that I've had for a long time and that I usually keep in the back of my car. So we'll go ahead and see how long that takes. Pump this to a work of two PSI. And to set it. It's really easy. Go ahead and turn the unit on and you already set it for me, but you just hit the PSI button, it goes up and down and it descends on its own. So we'll go ahead and time this and see what happens. OK. So we'll go ahead and time this and see how good it is.
So we'll go ahead and hit the pump. Good. So it took 14 minutes 40 seconds to get 52 psi. We lost one tape. That is 42 psi. So there are two things here. So if I was actually on the beach and I had 10 PSI air in the front and back and I had this, and that was my air compressor with me. I hate to tell you guys, I'm going to have to charge a fee in between, because one of the things with this, it doesn't have, like a port through. So I came with a 12V adapter and I can plug it into the cigarette lighter. I can then make sure I can get through and all my tyres. So remember I started this at 10 PSI. I went up to 52. Well my rear tires are on this one.
The PSI is actually much higher. I think they were at 70 psi here. Up to 70 psi on my ass. So that will take another 10 minutes. And I don't think this battery will be able to make it far as the pump itself is not that hot. No hot spots noticed. So this part is really cool. And I'm amazed that this was actually faster. I really thought the old 12v compressor would be faster, but this one worked. And so we'll only be able to ship four tires and get you home safely. I think you will need to charge it in between. So hey guys, if you ever get into a situation where you can't jump start a vehicle, nothing will happen to it. And you know, it's got a great jump package, like LokiThor, and we just saw what kind of power it delivers with those load tests. Please remove the battery. I've had a lot of people over the years when I actually ran an auto shop.
Go ahead and turn the car around. Because they can't jump at the start. All we did was remove the battery the second the battery was removed from the car. Go ahead and start. The reason is that the cells in the batteries actually break. And so when you put power into it through another vehicle or jump packs like this, it'll just go ahead and basically cancel itself. So you have a heavy load there. And no matter what you do with it, if you hook up one car, two cars, that battery will last and drain everything.
So as a pro tip, always remove the battery in the car. This did not start because it is not a jump pack. It's not the other car. It's not the cables, guys. You have a bad cell in that battery and it is gobbling up all your juice. Thank you very much for watching the video. If you guys found the video helpful, please comment below. So let's go ahead and test the accuracy of this. We can see that we are at 51 psi and they said we are 52 psi. The reason is that the tool has an accuracy rating of 2 PSI.
So it is within the specification. And I have to tell you one more thing, guys. My little portable bag, 12v jump pack is here. I can hear the compressor in this thing behaving weird because I got it in those higher PSIs and it's been running for a long time. The air hose is a little hot. And so I will continue to use this to finish it off because. I had an RV. And I had another one of these units and it had a higher PSI frame like this, and that thing just gave up. So LokiThor looked pretty good. And I didn't hear any kind of loose noise in there and the sound didn't change. So we'll go ahead and use this at the end.
This also started. OK.
So we just got to 52 and we can see we're down two columns and we're going to check how accurate this is now, 52.5. One thing again, I'm not sure why the connector is like this. Sometimes it is not included when these manufacturers come out. They go ahead and give you business. Then they start trimming. That's a great conductor here guys, but eventually Cyrus will wear out. What's wrong with your ball? Alright guys. So let's go ahead and try a ball needle here and thread it in and see if we blow this up so you can stop halfway on pumping give a ball. So the ball is perfect.
We're at nine PSI and this is at least 10 PSI, but as you guys can see it's very easy to go ahead and use it however you want. And now I can just pull this off. I'll try to dodge now, is that better? All right guys. So that would be my favorite part of the video, which would give this random score to the still. And so I've based this on a total of six criteria on these jump packs here. So the first criteria, which you can already get by 50 points. The first criteria is, does it have good power output and to rate the power output of these guys, I'm going to give this a 45 out of 50, which is a really high score. As you guys saw in this load test video, this thing can hold a load for a very long time. I got the coil and the pregnancy testers are so hot, it's starting to make smoke.
And this is a really strong jump start. This is the most powerful launch I've tried, the only ones I know of that have more juice than this are actually on auction houses and they basically need a big dolly to carry it around and they have two or three huge jumbo batteries on it. It is not portable. surprising. In terms of power output, does it have a boost mode and for a boost mode, I actually gave this a hand, is it easy to use in the user-friendly functions? I actually went ahead and gave this an eight and the reason is the boost mode, I really wish they had a separate button here.
And there's a bit of a delay when you're trying to start something. So when you hit the pump and it starts, you set your PSI and then you get a one second touch. It's more like waiting two or three seconds before it actually starts. So you got an eight out of 10, on ease of use and criteria number four, how is the scope and build of the actual unit? And for that, I gave him an eight, which is actually a great score. The only thing I would say it didn't give this, the absolute 10 feeling is because it wasn't understood. perfect. So even though it's portable, it has a nice handle. I didn't feel like this thing fell that it could move on and survive. And as far as mobile equipment is concerned, this is something that can happen. The five criteria are. Does it have other features? And in this department, I gave this a nine out of 10. The only thing that could have made this an absolute tenth, especially for the price point, is if it had a wireless charger built into the top.
I 've already reviewed other units where they have a wireless charger on top. And these are actually. Get a USB-C output, which is nice. And another thing too, are the similar accessories that come with it, which are these adapters, here, I wish they could really make room to go ahead and cut it out whether it's on the top or the bottom.
They had little room. So it would have been really nice if they made some holes in the back just to go ahead and hold us because I actually have to carry this in a ziplock bag. So it kind of takes away some of the aesthetic feeling of having everything in one unit and knowing that you arrived with you. And the last category in my tool ranking here will be the price guys, right? And on this one, I gave it an 8 out of 10 because this unit is currently going for $169. Well, you can get a portable jump starter for 40, 50, 60, one hundred dollars, and you can get a portable jump starter or 12 for.
There is an air compressor, or you can get a portable 12v air compressor with a plug in for about $30. right.
And so taking them apart, it's kind of nice for guys because if one unit breaks, you can go ahead and worry about that. $30 unit. And instead of having to replace $170 a unit like the ones we have here and workers in general, this gets an 88 out of a hundred. This is an amazing score set, amazing portable jump starter with actual air compressor, bill 10 and.
Really good unit. I myself have never used a portable Jumpstarter like this, of this caliber myself. up to a staggering 88 degrees. If this is to go ahead and get into the 90s or 90s the main downfall of this is that I'd still have to carry another portable air compressor because we saw what happened to battery life after one 10 PSI tire popped up to 52 and another 41 to 52 words in two bars . The problem is that this doesn't go through the 12v connection here. So if it was built at 12 o'clock or ran through a 12 foot hitch and cable, which is fairly inexpensive, this thing would have been in the 95's or 90's. Great unit overall.
