Milwaukee Tool Introduces New M12 Packout System: A Floodlight and USB Charging Center
Milwaukee Tool is constantly innovating and producing new tools to make work easier and more efficient. They recently released a new M12 Packout system that is a combination of a floodlight and a USB charging center. This system offers an excellent lighting solution for working on job sites and can also charge your phone.
The M12 Packout system is IP54 rated and has a total weight of six pounds without the battery. The M12 battery is placed off to the side, making it easy to install and remove. It requires any of the M12 batteries to run.
The runtime of the floodlight will vary depending on which mode you use. The fuel gauge on the system shows how much battery life is remaining. On high mode, the floodlight produces 1400 lumens and you can get up to one hour of run time per amp hour. A four amp-hour battery is sufficient for approximately four hours of runtime. On medium mode, which produces 700 lumens, a four amp-hour battery can power up to seven hours. In low mode, producing 350 lumens, a four amp-hour battery can last for up to 12 hours with approximately three hours of runtime per amp hour.
The M12 Packout system is compact and designed to optimize storage space. It consumes half of the pack-out system and is intended to be on the topmost level for the overall design of the system. It comes with two removable trays that offer additional storage space for your phone or other tools while you work.
Internally, the system has a USB-A output, a USBC output, and a USB charging button. This means you can charge your phone, wireless headphones, and other electronic devices on-site. The system can handle charging your phone and other devices while still functioning as a floodlight. The system is IP54 rated, so it is resistant to rain and dust, ensuring protection for your electronics.
The M12 Packout system floodlight is designed for versatility in mind; it has a large range of movement and can be positioned upright, move backward, or straight up. It can easily be moved to various job locations, attics, or basements, without the full packout system.
Milwaukee’s Trueview lighting technology is applied to the system, which produces a high-quality floodlight with good clarity. It has a memory setting that remembers the last used mode after being turned on.
The M12 Packout system floodlight retails at $129 and is an incredible device for those needing good light sources and power. It is an excellent tool for contractors or DIY enthusiasts who need a versatile, compact, and powerful lighting system.
So, whether you are working on site or at home, having Milwaukee Tool’s M12 Packout system could make your work much easier, with good lighting and reliable device charging.
